Dare 5
I dare you to stop thinking that pressure means something is wrong. We’ve been conditioned to run from discomfort, but Scripture says pressure is often how something is formed.
I dare you to look at the word Tribulation. It literally means pressure. In Hebrew, the word Yatzar—to form or to shape—is the exact same word used when God formed Adam from the dust. I dare you to see that pressure isn’t punishment; it is formation.
Acts tells us that through much tribulation we enter the Kingdom. That doesn’t mean striving harder; it means Remaining. I dare you to Remain in God’s presence when things feel tight. I dare you to Remain when the pressure exposes the murkiness in your own heart. I dare you to Remain when every part of your personality is screaming at you to run, numb, explain, or collapse.
Sometimes God allows what feels like the removal of protection—not to harm you, but to reveal what is still inside you. I dare you to be honest with yourself today. Many people think they are ready for the Kingdom while still carrying bitterness, pride, or deception, simply because they never stayed in the fire long enough to let it be purged.
Tribulation isn’t about earning your way in. It’s about allowing God to get the “old nature” out of us. Like I always say: Papa wants us to hop up on His lap, but not with poo-poo in our diaper! Pressure is what exposes the mess. God’s presence is what cleans it.
So today, I dare you: Don’t run. Don’t collapse. Don’t defend. Just REMAIN. Tribulation isn’t what keeps you out of the Kingdom; it is what prepares you to enter it clean.
