HERE COMES THE RAIN – Day 5: The Growth That Begins Below

Before a plant ever reaches toward the sun, its very first movement of life goes downward. The radicle—the first tiny root—pushes quietly into the soil where no one can see it. There is no applause, no visible leaves, just a clear sense of direction. In the same way, God often begins His greatest work in our lives beneath the surface, in hidden places where faith is forming and strength is taking root.

Sometimes the most important spiritual growth happens in silence, in seasons when progress feels slow or unnoticed. But do not lose heart. Every strong tree once started as a small root growing in the dark, sustained by unseen nourishment. God is establishing your foundation, deepening your trust, and preparing you for the season ahead.

If your progress feels small today, remember this truth: something has already begun. Stay rooted in faith. Keep believing. The rain will come, and when it does, you will rise stronger than before.
