Dare 20
Sometimes peace doesn’t begin in the mind —
it begins in the spine.
Scripture says,
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… therefore honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
This is not about appearance.
It is about reverence.
When you lift your shoulders, level your chin, and take one slow breath, you are not “posing.”
You are aligning.
The body carries what the soul believes.
If we collapse inward, the spirit follows.
If we rise gently and breathe deeply, the body reminds the soul:
You are safe.
You are steady.
You are held.
Alignment is worship in physical form.
One intentional minute —
shoulders back, chin level, breath slow —
can reset more than posture.
It can reset perspective.
It can reset emotion.
It can reset awareness.
The temple is not just something you pray inside of.
It is something you carry.
Today’s dare is simple:
Stand like someone indwelt by the Spirit.
Breathe like someone sustained by grace.
Honor God with your body — not by striving, but by alignment.
Sometimes the most spiritual act you can do
is stand up straight
and remember who lives within you.
