Dare 32
DARE #32 — Bless the One Who Offends You
Today, do something that interrupts your ego.
Pray good over the person who triggered you.
Not sarcastically.
Not spiritually superior.
Not “Lord fix them.”
But sincerely.
“Lord, bless them. Cover them. Do good to them.”
Jesus didn’t say tolerate those who offend you.
He said:
“Bless those who curse you…” — Luke 6:28
Bitterness doesn’t start loud.
It starts small.
A replayed sentence.
A defended position.
A quiet tightening in the chest.
If we don’t interrupt it early, it roots.
But when we bless instead of rehearse — something shifts.
The offense loses oxygen.
The ego loses fuel.
And the heart softens again.
You are never more powerful than when you refuse to let offense define you.
Pray blessing today.
And watch what dissolves.
Prayer purifies what pride would protect.
